Doors are shipped from the factory bare galvanized. The contractor or dealer must do the patina process. After the patina process, a clear sealer must be applied to seal the finish. This protects the finish plus prevents anything from ever coming off the door. Keeps finish from ever running off and staining the driveway or garage floor. Patina color chemicals are available in 1-Gallon size containers. Sealer is sold in 1-Gallon can kits. They are a 2 part mix system. This results in the best possible protection.
